Lime Plaster Prague

A natural, breathable finish with a low carbon footprint

Lime plaster is a natural, slaked-lime-based finish that lets a wall "breathe" and helps regulate humidity. We apply it using Italian BeriCalce and Calchèra San Giorgio materials — free of biocides and chromates, with a low carbon footprint. Lime even reabsorbs CO₂ as it cures.

Frequently asked questions about lime plaster

What makes lime plaster special?

It's breathable and helps regulate room humidity. It contains no biocides or chromates, and lime's high pH doesn't create conditions mould thrives in. Lime also reabsorbs CO₂ as it cures.

Is lime plaster suitable for allergy sufferers?

It contains no biocides or synthetic binders and meets strict VOC-emission standards. We can provide the material's technical documentation on request.

How much does lime plaster cost?

Prices usually run 2,400–3,500 CZK/m² including installation, depending on the area, the number of coats and the substrate condition.

Can lime plaster be used in a bathroom?

On walls outside direct contact with running water, yes. For wet zones — the shower enclosure and floor — we use the Errelab systems, which are built for water and load.
